Emirates Bank Group becomes procurement ‘Expert’ with Tejari consulting service
Tejari, the Middle East’s online marketplace, today announced that another UAE-based organization has opted for its ‘Tejari Expert’ consulting service, extending the scope of its service offering.
The Emirates Bank Group (EBG) selected ‘Tejari Expert’ to help its administration department gain greater insight into procurement spend whilst concurrently assessing buying processes and the current organizational framework.
‘In order to ensure that EBG continues to provide the highest of standards to all of our customers, Tejari Expert has provided us with recommendations that enable us to align our procurement and overall administration more closely with the Group’s business objectives,’

‘Tejari’s ‘Expert’ consultants have provided us with a comprehensive analysis of our procurement spend, identifying and classifying suppliers against their respective commodity and then depicting strengths and weaknesses of our current operations as per global best practices,’ Al Shamsi continued.
Tejari’s research has shown that more effective supplier management and strategic sourcing can save regional businesses anywhere from 5 to 15 percent of their procurement costs. The ‘Tejari Expert’ service includes a framework for assessment, ensuring that key criteria are in line with the overall organizational strategy. It will allow Emirates Bank Group to discover how to structure effective procurement and reporting relationships in order to maximize efficiencies. Provided with a clear picture of spending and performance across the entire organization, Emirates Bank Group will be able to catalogue spending and develop individual acquisition strategies for key expense areas.
