Services offered include submission of manifest, container lists, delivery & receipt requests and invoicing. Dubai Trade also caters to customers for Dubai Customs, JAFZA and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre.

Participants discussed several aspects of the portal and requested certain specific enhancements to the portal to simplify their business process. These requests were noted by the Dubai Trade representatives who will be modifying the portal to comply with the requirements of its users.

DP World announced future plans for the portal such as the plan to introduce e-payment for all its customers. DP World – UAE also announced that by the end of January 2007, invoice hard copies would no longer be dispatched to customers. Senior officials from DP World – UAE emphasized that discussions on Dubai Trade’s enhancement would require a continuous commitment on behalf of all parties concerned and that such meetings would be held regularly.
