Hong-Kong based shipping company to open first regional base at Dubai Maritime City
KC Maritime, a leading Hong Kong-based shipping company has recently announced that it will establish an office as part of the Dubai Maritime City, its first permanent base in the region.
As a leading shipping company in the dry bulk sector, KC Maritime has achieved growth by developing long lasting relationships with a worldwide network of charterers. With a fleet comprised of modern Panamax and Handymax vessels, KC Maritime intend to participate in dry bulk trades within the region focusing on aggregates, cement and iron ore. The Dubai office will also be responsible for the selfunloader and transloader business for the group.

KC Maritime is part of the Kishinchand Chellaram Group of Companies which was founded in 1915. The group expanded into Shipping in 1980 with an order for three Handysize vessel sand has offices in Hong Kong, Mumbai and now Dubai.
