Market Day at International City Returns
Following the success of last November’s Market Day, Nakheel, Dubai’s master developer, will be hosting a second car boot sale at International City on Friday 23rd January.
November’s Market Day saw 60 stall holders and more than 300 visitors enjoy a day of bargain-hunting and this year’s event is set to be an even bigger success.
In celebration of Chinese New Year on Thursday 29th January, Chinese decorations will be hung throughout the market. Visitors can also continue the Chinese theme by paying a visit to Dragon Mart – the largest commercial centre for Chinese products outside the Chinese mainland – which is also housed at International City.
Nakheel which, in partnership with Cirque du Soleil, is bringing the world famous show Alegría to Dubai in March, has given two tickets for some of the best seats in the ‘Grand Chapiteau’ as part of a prize draw for Market Day visitors.

Sellers should arrive between 2:00pm and 2:30pm to set up their car boot, with the market opening to buyers between 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Entry is free for visitors, with an AED 50 registration fee for sellers. The Market is located at Area 1, opposite the Nakheel Asset Management office in A12 – China of International City.
