Wan Hai Lines says Dubai Trade’s e-services enable improved customer care along the supply chain
Integrated electronic services offered by Dubai Trade, the innovative online portal of Dubai World, are playing a crucial role in enhancing business transactions across the supply chain sector in the emirate.
This message was conveyed to a Dubai Trade delegation led by Mahmood Al Bastaki, Director of Dubai Trade, by Arthur Wu, General Manager, Wan Hai Lines (UAE) LLC, during a meeting at the shipping line’s Dubai office earlier this week.
The meeting was part of Dubai Trade’s on-going drive to solicit feedback from its customers and open direct communications channels with them, and was attended by senior officials from Dubai Trade, DP World, and Wan Hai Lines.
The ongoing customer outreach and service programme is designed to assess and respond to feedback on the various online services it provides and enhance customer satisfaction. Dubai Trade plans to incorporate many end-user suggestions in a revamped version of its services to be introduced later this year.
Mahmood Al Bastaki, Director of Dubai Trade, said:
“We are delighted to meet and interact with our important customers such as Wan Hai Lines. We highly value their suggestions, which are in fact the real catalyst for change. The feedback from our customers enables us to constantly upgrade our services and make it easy for all to do business in Dubai.
“It is Dubai Trade’s aim to ensure that the logistics and supply chain services offered in Dubai always remain the best in the region and in line with the vision set by the emirate’s leadership. Dubai Trade encourages businesses to opt for e-services to counter transactions in order to save on time and operational costs.”
Arthur Wu, General Manager, Wan Hai Lines (UAE) LLC, said:
“Wan Hai fully understands the complexities behind the services offered by Dubai Trade. We welcome Dubai Trade management’s relentless efforts to make the portal as user-friendly as possible. The enhanced e-services enable Wan Hai to offer better services to its own customers down the supply chain.”
Wan Hai Lines uses Dubai Trade’s online platform for a range of services, including E-services offered by Jafza, DP World and Dubai Customs, covering logistics, surface transportation and documentation.
Wan Hai, founded in 1965 in Taiwan R.O.C, has a fleet of 65 vessels and has a strong presence in the Far Eastern shipping market.
Dubai Trade has developed its innovative concepts to the level of becoming a key player in Dubai’s trading sector. Constant upgrading keeps its services at pace with the changes in technology. By covering the end-to-end supply chain, Dubai Trade brings together into a single community a vast majority of companies that interact with Dubai’s ports, customs, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).
