Get Your Skates on! UAE’s First Ever Roller Rink arrives at Ibn Battuta Mall
Ibn Battuta Mall kicks of its Summer Fiesta with the arrival of the UAE’s first ever roller rink. Since Thursday 11 June at India Court, ‘Roller Extreme ’ has been open to all budding skaters willing to test out their skills on the specially designed indoor skating rink.
Extreme Roller Rink is open from 1pm until 10pm Sunday through Wednesday and from 1pm to midnight, Thursday to Saturday at Ibn Battuta Mall. Priced at only AED30 on weekdays and AED40 at weekends for a full two hour session, including hire of 3S roller skates made by Smart Ice, it’s a great way to keep fit and stay out of the heat this summer. There is even a series of special weekend themed nights planned at Roller Extreme that will include music, games and competitions with entry costing just AED50 per person. Groups of ten people or more benefit from a special offer of AED5 discount per entry, per person, any day of the week.
The roller rink is just one of the exciting events at Ibn Battuta Mall this summer.
Running for nine weeks, the Summer Fiesta brings a series of themed zones and events to the mall including: PlayStation Zone with interactive social gaming sessions which change each and every week; Sports Zone – home to its very own crazy golf course and penalty shoot out area; and Kids Zone with interactive fun for younger visitors, from arts and craft to circus workshops and puppet shows. At Grand Cinemas, a special Summer Fiesta promotion gives people the chance to see their favourite films from past and present up on the big screen at only AED 25 per person including cinema ticket, popcorn and soda. The kid’s classic promotion will run from Sunday – Thursday at 5pm, 14th June – 25th July.
